Evidence synthesis is gaining momentum in engineering, but comes with unique challenges. Join this practical webinar exploring how systematic, scoping, rapid reviews, and more are used in engineering research, and how they can differ from health sciences models. Various source types in the literature and the importance of documentation and transparency throughout the process will be discussed.

This webinar is aimed at engineering researchers and engineering librarians seeking to learn more about evidence synthesis and how Covidence can support them.

This webinar will be led by Dr. Kate Mercer, liaison librarian for Systems Design Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

By the end of the webinar, you’ll learn how to:

  • Choose the right evidence synthesis method for engineering questions
  • Identify engineering-specific databases and limitations of the resources

If you can't attend the live session, register anyway and you will receive a recording 48 hrs after the session.
