Lissu Lehtimaja is a Helsinki-based comic book artist and media teacher. She draws a regular comic column called Tiede kuplissa (Science in Bubbles) in the journal Tieteessä tapahtuu. In addition to his research, he has written books on science for the general public. The comic book Ozone Diary (2019, original in Finnish 2016, illustrated by Pentti Otsamo) describes the everyday life of a researcher working abroad. The children's book Maailman tutkijat (2021, illustrated by Mari Ahokoivu) presents different disciplines and how anyone can become a researcher. The non-fiction book Tiedettä valkokankaalla (2024), written with Tuukka Hämäläinen, goes through how science and researchers have been depicted in films.
