The University of Eastern Finland’s doctoral conferment ceremony at the Kuopio Campus is postponed to 25–27 September 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Originally, the doctoral conferment ceremony was scheduled for June.
A total of 156 persons who have obtained a doctoral degree from the University of Eastern Finland have registered for the ceremony. Registration for the conferment ceremony closed at the end of February. All registrants will be sent a link to an electronic form via which they can confirm their participation in the ceremony in September or, alternatively, cancel their registration. The participation fee is refundable for cancellations made by 15 April 2020.
Registration will possibly be reopened in April–May. The ceremony programme and other details will be updated on the conferment ceremony website at www.uef.fi/promootio.
