For students holding an upper secondary education certificate and who wish to gain competitive advantage through a degree from one of Finland’s leading universities, the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) offers three Bachelor's degree programmes taught in English. Bachelor in Information Technology is a new programme offered for 2023.
Fluency in the English language is a prerequisite for the programmes, and it typically takes three years to complete a Bachelor's degree. How to apply?
The application period for September 2023 Bachelor's intake is closed and the next application period for 2024 will begin on 3 January 2024 and it lasts until 17 January 2024.
There is one intake per year and the studies start the following September. Starting with admissions for studies, applicants will begin the application process on the national Studyinfo portal.

Tuition fees and waivers
Non-EU/EEA students are required to pay annual tuition fees. Tuition fee per academic year for the Bachelor's degree programmes taught in English will be 10,000 euros. The fee will remain the same for the whole duration of the degree studies. The university offers a partial tuition waiver that will cover 50-70 % of the tuition fee per year.
Admission results and country specific requirements
Applicants will be selected on the basis of their application documents. When the selection decision has been made, the results will be posted immediately to applicants by e-mail.
