Cardiovascular Research Community Symposium 2025

Welcome to hear about the newest cardiovascular research at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and Kuopio University Hospital (KUH)!

The Annual Symposium Afternoon of the Cardiovascular Research Community will be held on Thursday the 25th of September from 12:00 to16:15. This event is for all researchers and students interested in cardiovascular research. We have speakers from both UEF and Kuopio University Hospital and other universities. As keynote speaker this year, we are delighted to announce Professor Jussi Hernesniemi from Tampere University with the topic “Dawn of the Era of Individualized Genetic Profiling in the Prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death”. 

This in-person-only event is free of charge. Place: KUH, building M, 2nd floor, Auditorium 1. Please register by 21 September.
