Rijal Ramdani, MPA: Doctoral Defence in Environmental Policy, Joensuu

The doctoral dissertation of Rijal Ramdani, MPA, entitled Governing Fires in the Tropics. Peatland Fires and Oil Palm Expansions in Sumatra, Indonesia will be examined at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies. The Opponent will be Professor Jesse Ribot of the American University, Washington, D.C., and the Custos will be Professor Irmeli Mustalahti of the University of the Eastern Finland. Language of the public defence is English.
