Taking higher-than-recommended doses of vitamin D for five years reduced the risk of atrial fibrillation in older men and women, according to a new study from the University of Eastern Finland.
The Academy of Finland’s Research Council for Culture and Society has granted 280,000 euros of funding to an Academy Project on carbon offsetting at the University of Eastern Finland.

This year’s BOMOCULT conference welcomes papers and panels that take up debates regarding processes of cooperation, dialogue and inclusion as well as the challenges that confront more open understandings of borders.
