Tanzanian Teacher‑Education Experts Visit UEF to Strengthen Cooperation in the FUTE Project
The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) will host two colleagues from the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), Tanzania, as part of the FUTE – Future Teachers in East Africa project from 13 to 27 March 2026. The visitors are:
- Dr. Rehema Mwakabenga, Senior Lecturer and FUTE Key Expert
- Dr. Janeth Kalinga, Lecturer and FUTE Project Coordinator
Their two‑week mobility period includes teaching, school visits, joint curriculum work, and collaboration with both UEF and the Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI). The visit continues long‑term cooperation between UEF and DUCE (Finland and Tanzania)in strengthening teacher education and supporting international mobility.
