UEF's podcast series opens the curtains on research and innovation activities. The theme of the third episode is building an entrepreneurial culture in the university and fostering collaboration to advance student- and research-driven ideas toward investment-ready startups.
The Innovation Pathways Podcast dives into the heart of research, innovation, and societal impact. The series explores diverse career paths of researchers, opportunities in entrepreneurship and industry collaboration, as well as persistent myths related to innovation.
The third episode explores how universities, student communities, and venture capital investors can collaborate to build a strong entrepreneurial culture, support the development of student and researcher ideas, and enable their growth into investment-ready companies.
The guests of the episode are Venture Capitalist Mikael Myllymäki from the venture capital firm Redstone and Hanna Ojuva, Chair of the student-led entrepreneurship society Joensuu Entrepreneurship Society. The episode is hosted by Innovation Advisor Tomi Tuovinen from the University of Eastern Finland’s Business Collaboration and Innovation Services. The discussion is conducted in English.
