The multidisciplinary thematic areas offer new perspectives for developing professional competence.
The University of Eastern Finland’s Open University has compiled a selection of English-taught courses, which are now offered under thematic areas addressing a variety of current issues
The new thematic areas showcase the Open University’s offering in a more versatile way than before, allowing learners to build their competence flexibly and across disciplinary boundaries. The thematic areas also provide opportunities to explore current societal phenomena from the perspectives of multiple academic fields.
The studies available within the thematic areas are particularly well-suited for those looking to develop their professional skills, explore new career directions or gain a multidisciplinary understanding of contemporary issues.
