Learning outcomes: After completing the course, students will know how the Finnish working life, labour market and working culture function. They are aware of career paths and job opportunities for highly educated people. While gaining competence to find meaningful employment, students develop their ethical skills in career planning.
The study unit (course) develops the following generic competences: Recognizing and developing one’s own expertise
Further information: The course will be arranged in the autumn and spring semesters. The course is best suited for those (undergraduate, graduate) students for whom the transition into working life is topical. The language of instruction is English.
The student will complete the course independently online within the given deadlines.
Schedule: The online course is open from September 15 to November 24, 2025. Students can complete the course during that time at their own pace.
You can obtain the grade for the course in any of the 4 assessment points by finishing your course work before the set days 7.10., 21.10., 4.11. and 25.11.2025.
All learning material is available in the course online learning environment.
Students acquaint themselves with the material in the learning environment and complete the required assignments. To pass the course (PASS/FAIL), students must complete the tasks in the learning environment successfully.
Study units cost 20 € / credit point. This price holds for the academic year 2025–2026.
