All Hands on the Border: the Civic Response to the War in Ukraine

Researchers Saara Koikkalainen, Tamara Polyakova, Alicja Fajfer and Olga Filippova from the Karelian Institute, University of Eastern Finland, will discuss the development and research perspectives to the quickly emerged civic response and activism related to large-scale refugee movement from Ukraine to Poland and to Finland. We will also discuss what academics and the global science community could do to help scientists and academic community in Ukraine.
