The University of Eastern Finland’s annual Young Researchers’ Evening will focus on the opportunities of working as a researcher, and on academic career development.
In the event, Rector Jukka Mönkkönen will present the Young Researcher Awards in recognition of an outstanding doctoral dissertation completed by the UEF researchers. We will also hear speeches by the awardees representing different fields of science.
This year, for the first time, the Doctoral Supervisor Award 2024 will be presented to a distinguised dissertation supervisor who is a member of the University of Eastern Finland staff.
The event will be held in Finnish and in English, and it will be open to everyone on UEF Vimeo Channel.
