DrugTech RC Seminar Series: ​Inhibitors, probes and Proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs) for epigenetic targets

The DrugTech February Seminar will feature Professor Manfred Jung, Freiburg University, Germany, who will give a presentation on ‘Inhibitors, probes and Proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs) for epigenetic targets’.

Our research focus is `Chemical Epigenetics´ and deals with the development and application of 
chemical and biochemical tools to dissect biological pathways, to validate therapeutic targets and to discover and optimize potential drugs addressing a wide range of epigenetic targets. This includes bifunctional Proteolysis targeting chimeras (PROTACs). Here we will focus on the NAD-dependent (Sirtuins) and zinc dependent (HDACs) histone deacetylases.
