2nd Symposium on CO2 Capture, Storage & Utilization - A CCU-NET Symposium

On behalf of the organizing committee, we warmly welcome researchers and engineers to University of Eastern Finland for the 2nd Symposium on CO2 capture, storage and utilization on November 3-4, 2022. The symposium will be held as a parallel event under 2nd International Conference for Sustainable Resource Society: Seizing a sustainable future.

A symposium is organized as a parallel event under Carbon Capture and Utilization Network (CCU CCU-NET) project funded by NordForsk. The Symposium will provide platform to present and exchange latest novel and cutting-edge research on CO2 capture and utilization. PhD students are especially encouraged to present in the symposium. This symposium is sponsored by Nord Forsk Research carbon capture and utilization Network project.

The CCU-NET program addresses the mobility between research groups and focuses on training of highly qualified personnel in the strategic field of carbon capture. Technical frame of the project focuses on porous adsorbents for CO2 capture, conversion and utilization. Partner universities are: Technical University of Denmark, Luleå University of Technology, University of Oslo and University of Eastern Finland. The consortium provides training to PhD students and promote collaboration and exchange of PhD and postdoctoral researchers.

The symposium is jointly organized by a consortium of University of Eastern Finland Research Communities focused on challenges of sustainability transition in society, environmental change and sustainable use of natural resources.
