National Doctoral Education Day is organized October 9th 2025 at the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio campus. The theme of the day is Unique Paths to Shared Goals.

The invitation is extended to those interested in the development of doctoral education, especially directors of doctoral programs and doctoral schools, those working in doctoral education administration, as well as doctoral supervisors and representatives of doctoral researchers. The event provides an opportunity to share and discuss good practices in doctoral education with peers and colleagues from different Finnish universities.
Our keynote speakers are Tapio Määttä (University of Eastern Finland), Annalisa Sannino (Tampere University), and Sari Lindblom (University of Lapland).
