UI-SouthVation is an innovation challenge launched by University Innovations Global,
focusing on innovations for tackling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
UI-SouthVation 2021 is brought to you by UI Global and the Global Foodnet. It brings together food innovators in Kenya, southern Africa, Peru and Finland to develop foods from indigenous foods withindigenous knowledge.
Partnering within the Global Foodnet are the University of Eastern Finland (Finland), the Centre of Innovation for Andean Grains (CIINCA) at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (Peru), Tshwane University of Technology (South Africa), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya), the Southern Africa Network for Biosciences (SanNBIO) and UI Global.
