The Board of the University of Eastern Finland selected 10 Vice Rector candidates for interviews and public hearings organised for the university community at its meeting of 25 April.

Five applications were received for the post of Vice Rector for Research and 13 for the post of Vice Rector for Education.

The financial statement for 2023 was discussed by the UEF Board on 22 March. The financial statement will be discussed by the University Collegiate Body on 7 May.
