Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers practised presenting innovations at the closing event of the UEF Innovator pilot programme.

The doctoral dissertation in the field of Social and Public Policy will be examined at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies at Joensuu Campus and online.

The Doctoral Dual Degree Programme is a collaborative initiative between the School of Social Development and Public Policy at Fudan and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies at UEF.

“I don’t think many programmes give you this kind of exposure to both academia and business,” said doctoral researcher Ahmed Mohamed at the kick-out event of the Neuro-Innovation doctoral programme.

A total of 24 professors will give inaugural lectures on the key themes of their research.

The awards were presented to Heidi Linnanmäki, Immi Kovanen, Julia Lempola, Pinja Räisänen and Veera Korhonen.
