The Doctoral Programme in Drug Research (DPDR) at University of Eastern Finland will host, together with the Finnish Brain Tumour Research Association (FIBTRA), the 6th Annual Symposium on Brain Tumours in Kuopio on 31 August –1 September.

The meeting will be focusing on the topics of Brain Tumor Microenvironment and Novel Drug Therapies to Treat Brain Tumors.

The programme features several very interesting presentations by internationally recognized speakers, like Professor Maria G. Castro from the University of Michigan, USA, and Neurosurgeon Joonas Haapasalo from Tampere University, who are presenting their research results for the first time in Kuopio.

Early Bird registration deadline is 30 June, and abstract submission deadline 16 June.
