Find the talent of tomorrow and develop your organisation’s operations together with our students!
Typical forms of educational collaboration include projects, internships and thesis projects.
For organisations, educational collaboration is also a great opportunity to gain visibility within our student community, and they can serve as an important link as our students are preparing to enter the workforce.
There are around 2,000 talented international students at our university. Besides their growing competence, companies can also leverage international students’ language and cultural skills as they work with international partners.
Learn more about possible forms of collaboration
Collaboration in the context of courses included in the university’s study programmes may involve just a single meeting, or more long-term collaboration. Forms of collaboration include, for example, guest lectures and student excursions to companies, as well as projects of various extent.
Mentoring creates meaningful interaction between professionals and students. Mentoring supports students’ motivation at the beginning of their studies, introduces working life perspectives early on, and provides students with the skills needed for entering the workforce. Mentoring can be implemented in various forms, for example as workshops or in the form of a programme.
Various events that foster links with the world of work bring together employers and students. Events organised throughout the academic year, such as career days, provide companies with the opportunity to run workshops and advertise their internship positions and thesis projects.
Offering an internship placement is a way to foster students’ entry into the workforce. An internship, whether a mandatory part of studies or voluntary, is a unique opportunity for both the student and the employer: the student gets to hone their career plans and create an image of the organisation. For the employer, it is a potential recruitment channel and a source of information about the content and quality of the university’s study programmes.

A Bachelor’s or a Master’s thesis with a working life orientation gives an organisation access to the latest research knowledge for developing their operations, as well as an opportunity to get to know a new expert.
Students can, in the form of their thesis, solve problems and respond to challenges that require investigation within the organisation. An experienced supervisor from the university will be responsible for supervising the thesis and supporting the student throughout the process.
For employers, a joint thesis project with a graduating student is also an effective tool for recruiting an employee for a longer term.
