Itä-Suomen yliopisto on mukana EFFORT-Erasmus+-hankkeessa, jonka tavoitteena on laatia eurooppalainen kääntämistaidon viitekehys.

The Regional State Administrative Agency for Eastern Finland has, on 15 February 2022, revoked its decisions to restrict gatherings due to COVID-19 in the hospital district areas of North Karelia and North Savo. Consequently, all restrictions on gatherings are lifted also at the University of Eastern Finland.
