The doctoral dissertation of Dilyara Nurkhametova, MD, provides a novel view on the involvement of local and systemic inflammatory processes in migraine, which were previously little studied in this disorder.

The pipeline described in the the PhD thesis by Anssi Lipponen, MSc, provides a rational stepwise procedure for evaluating the effects of systems-biology–discovered compounds to be repurposed for TBI and to accelerate discovery of drugs for TBI.
